1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Family Routine Tracker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Family Routine Tracker is a family organization application that helps families manage daily routines, tasks, meal planning, and activities. The Service is provided as a cloud-based software application accessible via web browsers.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Parental Consent and Children's Data

The Service is designed for family use, including children. By using the Service:

Parents/guardians consent to the processing of their children's data as described in our Privacy Policy
Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children's use of the Service
The parent account holder is responsible for all data entered for family members

5. Subscription and Payments

During the beta period, the Service is provided free of charge. After the beta period:

Paid subscriptions may be required for continued access
Subscription fees will be clearly communicated before any charges
You may cancel your subscription at any time
Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable Dutch consumer law

6. Beta Program Terms

The Service is currently in beta. By participating in the beta program, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

No Guarantees: The beta Service is provided "as is" without any warranties or guarantees of availability, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose.
Data Risk: Beta software may contain bugs or errors. Your data may be corrupted, lost, or become inaccessible. We strongly recommend maintaining your own backups of important information.
Functionality Changes: Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time without prior notice. The user interface and functionality you see today may change significantly.
Service Interruptions: The Service may experience downtime, outages, or be unavailable for extended periods during the beta phase.
No Compensation: In the event of data loss, service interruption, or any issues arising from beta participation, no compensation or refund will be provided.
Feedback: We may request feedback about your experience. Any feedback you provide may be used to improve the Service without any obligation to you.

By signing up for the beta waitlist or using the beta Service, you confirm that you understand and accept these risks.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Share your account credentials with unauthorized persons
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
Upload malicious software or harmful content
Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Family Routine Tracker and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the Service (such as tasks, recipes, events). By using the Service, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

10. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data in a portable format
Object to certain processing activities

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law:

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Family Routine Tracker from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.

17. Severability
